Refund policy

We hope your Bounde purchases will bring beauty to your life and desk and become your treasured objects. However, in the event you should need to return your purchase, please read our returns policy.

 

First the formalities;

We offer refunds and replacements in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Before making a purchase, please carefully read this policy so that you can understand your rights and what you can expect from us if you are not satisfied with your order.
All refunds are processed in the same form as the original purchase or to the same account or credit card used to make the original purchase.

Faulty Items

We want the best for you, which is why we personally quality check each product before it is packaged, sealed and sent to you. But if something has managed to slip by us, and is not functioning as it should, please let us know.

Where products are received are faulty in condition, please contact our team via email within 7 working days of receiving your order. Please include your name and order number, along with details and photographs of the faulty item to hello@bounde.com.au . Once your claim has been reviewed and confirmed faulty, we are happy to offer you a choice of refund or store credit.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 Change of Mind

We hope that your Bounde products will become treasured goods, woven into the fabric of your life, and too precious to part with. However, should you have had a change of heart, and would like to return an item, please read on…

Change of mind refers to purchases where you have received the correct goods as ordered, but upon receipt, you have changed your mind and wish to return the item/s.

Please note, we do not offer refunds on non-faulty products.

Where you have changed your mind we can offer a store credit to the product value, providing the follow conditions are met:

  • Change of mind store credit returns are accepted, provided you have contacted us via email within 14 days of receiving your order to arrange a return. If more than 14 days have passed since you have received your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you store credit in exchange for your items.
  • Responsibility for return shipping and shipping costs are at the customer’s expense.
  • Products must be returned in original condition, unused, without damage, and in complete original packaging.
  • A store credit will be provided once your return item/s is/are received back at our warehouse in original packaging and without damage. Damaged items will not be eligible for a store credit. 
  • Please note: initial shipping fees cannot be refunded for change of mind returns.

 

Products Damaged During Delivery

We take every effort to package your goods with the utmost care. Unfortunately, this is not always enough to protect it from the “slings and arrows of outrageous fortune” – Hamlet, William Shakespeare.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

In the unfortunate event that your purchase has become damaged during its journey to you:

  • Please contact us via email at hello@bounde.com.au within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • Please provide photos of all damaged item/s and packaging, along with your name and order number.

We will use our discretion to arrange either a replacement of an equivalent product or a refund, providing that you have contacted us within 14 days from the date of receiving the product.


Exceptions / non-returnable items


We do not accept returns on special/custom orders. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
