In Paper We Trust: Why the Digital Age Can't Kill the Page
Rebecca KellyShare
There is something special about paper.
Putting pen to paper and letting thoughts tumble out. Leafing through the pages of an old book, feeling the texture of the paper on your thumb as you turn the page.
A fresh page in a notebook full of potent possibility. Pouring your heart out on the page in a journal, opening a letter from a dear friend, folding a note and slipping it in your pocket.
A pencil sketch in a notebook, a certificate of achievement, an old photo in a album, an idea scribbled on a paper napkin.
Classroom notes passed under the table, paper planes, sheet music, a treasured Valentines card, detailed architectural drawings on huge vellum sheets.
A birth certificate, a shopping list, a wedding invitation, a beautifully wrapped gift.
Paper has a magic in it's possibility and power in its authority. Paper is tangible, touchable, transformative. Paper is a part of our lives, our creativity, our connection and our memories.
In paper we trust.
