How to gift wrap with wax seals
There are two main ways to add wax seals into your gift wrap: For a clean, round wax seal you can make your wax seal in advance using a wax sealing mat, then attach the wax seal with a small dot of melted wax, or some strong double sided tape. Alternatively, you can make your wax seal directly on the gift, creating a more rustic, natural wax seal.
Once you have gathered your materials, it's time to start incorporating wax seals into your gift wrapping. Begin by wrapping your gift in the chosen wrapping paper. Wrap the gift with velvet ribbon and secure with a bow or knot.
TIP: for a pro finish to your gift wrap, use double sided tape.
Next, clear your work space, as you will be using, heat, flame and hot wax. Light the tealight candle and place your wax sealing stove over it. Place four wax sealing beads into the wax melting spoon, and position on the stove. Once the wax is completely melted, and the consistency of runny honey, remove the wax spoon from the heat and pour the melted wax onto your desired location for your wax seal. Before the wax hardens, press the wax seal stamp firmly into the wax to create a beautiful impression. Remove the wax seal stamp only once the wax has completely set.
TIP: For an extra vintage touch, add a few drops of melted wax to the gift wrap around the wax seal. This gives a the seal a vintage look that celebrates it's traditional style.
Here's how we're wrapping our gifts elegantly this Christmas...

1. Elegant Green Christmas Tree Gift Wrap
Choose your favourite green Christmas wrapping paper and pair with a luxurious green velvet ribbon and this delightful Christmas tree wax seal for charming seasonal gift wrapping.
Steps:
- Wrap your gift.
- Cut a short section of green velvet ribbon, approximately 5-6cm long.
- Fold the ribbon in half lengthways, and using sharp scissors, cut a small triangle out of the end of the ribbon, forming two points.
- Attach the ribbon to your gift with a small piece of double sided tape.
- Prepare your Emerald Green sealing wax (as described above), and pour the wax into a small pool at the top of the ribbon.
- Press your Christmas tree wax seal into the centre of the wax pool. Allow wax to cool completely before removing the stamp
- Using any leftover wax still in the spoon, drip several spots around the wax seal to enhance the vintage look.

2. Luxurious Festive Foliage Gift Wrap
Choose a lovely purple or burgundy based Christmas wrapping paper, pair with mulberry velvet ribbon, a sprig of your favourite evergreen foliage and a festive gold wax seal to create a luxury Christmas present.
Steps:
- Wrap your gift.
- Cut a long piece of velvet ribbon, long enough to go around your gift about 1 and 1/3 times.
- Cut a wedge out of each end of the ribbon forming two points at each end.
- Wrap the ribbon around the present on a slight angle, allowing the ends to be offset to one another, as pictured below. Secure with double sided tape.
- Place your sprig of foliage across the ribbon.
- Melt your Antique Gold sealing wax as described above, and pour wax over the end of the foliage.
- Press your wax seal into the wax and leave it there until wax sets. We love this "With Love" wax seal for gifting all year round.
- Add a few extra dots of shimmering gold wax to the gift to enhance the finished look.

3. Snazzy Santa Christmas Gift Wrap
This gift wrap is so simple but really looks so stylish. In fact it's so easy, we don't even need to explain the steps, you can also refer to tips above. The Santa wax seal adds a fun festive touch to this gift wrapping. We've used our Jade Green sealing wax for a bold Christmas colour combination.
TIP: Use a gold paint pen to highlight the design of the wax seal to create a luxury finish.
4. Gorgeous Green & Red Merry Christmas Gift Wrap
Nothing quite says Christmas like a green and red gift wrapping. Create the ultimate impression with swathes of lush green velvet ribbon, a big bow and a glossy red and gold "Merry Christmas" wax seal. Perfect!

Steps:
- Choose a gorgeous green based Christmas paper to wrap your gift. This style work best with square or rectangular shaped presents or those in boxes.
- Grab a long length of this lush forest green velvet ribbon, and find the centre point. (it's best to test how much you will need for this before cutting the ribbon)
- Place the centre of the ribbon several centimeters in from the top left corner of the present, and run the ribbon on a diagonal across that corner from front to back as shown above.
- Wrap the ribbon across the back of the gift in two parallel lines towards the bottom right corner.
- Bring the ribbon to the front of the gift and secure with a large bow. Trim the ends of the ribbon to points.
- Prepare your wax seal supplies as directed above.
- Pour Garnet red sealing wax into a pool over the ribbon on the top left corner, and press your seal stamp into the wax. Remove the wax seal stamp once wax is fully set.
